Wedding photography tip 2, a sheet, by Walter Carlson

I found this one out the hard way. The problem is posing brides in a grassy area.
The grass will stain their wedding dress. The other problem is posing outdoors in an area that has loose dirt or tar. For sure you do not want the bride arriving at the church or reception with any kind of stain on their dress.
One of the solutions I found was to bring a clean old white sheet  for posing. First the assistant would lay out the sheet where the pose was going to take place. The bride would step onto the middle of the sheet, and the assistant would tuck the sheet under the dress. The assistant or a bridesmaid would be responsible for keeping the sheet and the dress aligned during the shoot.

Hope this helps, please feel free to add comments.  Walt
