Walter Carlson is a retired wedding, portrait, commercial and photojournalist photographer, living in Florida. He is a graduate of Manchester Institute of the Arts in Manchester New Hampshire. Walter worked at his studio on Main St. in Nashua, New Hampshire. After moving to Florida he worked as a freelance photographer for the Citrus County Chronicle in Crystal River, Florida, for five years.
Prior to working as a photographer he worked for Digital Equipment Corporation for 26 years, and RCA for 6 years. His military experiences included the U.S.A.F. active duty and U.S.A.R active reserve. Some of the schools he has attended are: Manchester Institute of the Arts, Lowell Tech., North Eastern, Middlesex College, Newman Preparatory School.
His retirement activities include, taking and editing lots of photographs, going on cruises with his wife, and a new activity learning how to design web sites. Sometimes, he even enjoys talking in the third person about himself. I thought I would try my hand at blogging.
