This is something I did for all my wedding parties. I always packed a small package of things that I called my Just-in-Case Package. The contents included:
Ten, rubber bands; ten, hair pins; Ten, paper clips; ten, safety pins. These can be used to adjust and hold clothes, veils etc. in place, especially on windy days.
Small baby powder with a few cotton balls, reduce shiny spots.
Small baby oil with a few cotton balls, make shiny spots.
Small, bug lotion; Small, sun tan lotion, Just in case.
The small lotions and oils can be made up in small plastic bottles or travel sizes.
Eyeglass wipes.
Small tissue package, tears flow freely at weddings.
Two ball point pens, with your advertisement on them. There is no reason to wait while the bride or groom has to run around looking for a pen.
I know there was more, but I cannot think of them now. I know this practice really helped in a pinch, and helped make the couples day a little easier. If you have more for the list pleas contribute. all suggestions welcome. Thanks Walt.
